What You Can Expect After a Tooth Extraction

You can expect a limited amount of bleeding from the surgical sites after extraction.

Postoperative pain can range from discomfort to moderate pain. Most patient find paracetamol and ibuprofen adequate to manage any pain they have.

There is likely to be swelling of the cheek which will only peak 24 hours after surgery. This an be minimised by applying ice packs to the side of your cheeks after surgery.
