Used to fix very heavily filled or extensively damaged teeth
Crowns are usually made to fix a very heavily filled or extensively damaged tooth and cover the whole tooth. At Church Corner Dental Surgery we make crowns by using CEREC. Cerec crowns are designed using a computer and milled (cut) from a block of strengthened porcelain. This is usually a single visit appointment.
Bridges are an option when there are missing teeth. The teeth either side of the missing tooth are prepared and crowns made for them. The crowns are joined by an extra tooth to fill the missing space.
